Plan and follow the progress of treatment even before it begins

The therapy planninng software, NanoPlan^®, is a part of the NanoTherm^® therapy and supports the treating physician in the development of a therapy plan. Based on the distribution of nanoparticles as shown in a post operative CT, the NanoPlan^® uses the Bioheat-Transfer equation to estimate the treatment temperatures and the necessary magnetic field strength.

The intuitive workflow guides the user through a series of treatment parameters questions. As a result, the software creates a three-dimensional image of the tumor, nanoparticle depots, and treatment catheter. In addition, an estimation of the temperature distribution can be shown in correlation with the field strength. By changing the given parameters, it is possible to simulate different scenarios and the optimal treatment field strength can be determined.
